You can also find links to some of the other training happening across the University under Other training
Our trainings are organised into four 'audience exposure' levels as follows:
- Level 1: Never used AI
These individuals have no prior experience using AI tools like ChatGPT, Copilot, or similar. They may be unfamiliar with basic terminology and functionality. - Level 2: Sometimes use AI
Users in this group have experimented with AI occasionally - perhaps using it for idea generation, writing help, or coding assistance, but not consistently. - Level 3: Use AI on a daily basis
Regular AI users who likely incorporate tools into their daily workflow. They are typically comfortable with prompts, plugins, and productivity use cases. - Open to all
This applies to sessions open to all experience levels. Content is likely designed to be inclusive and adaptable depending on participant input.
AI at Oxford
Following the University-wide rollout of ChatGPT Edu, the AI Competency Centre and the Digital Capabilities teams have created a series of supportive sessions to get all Oxford staff and students feeling confident to start using generative AI tools in their work and studies. These sessions run regularly and frequently through the term. Some can also be requested for times which suit you and your team or student cohort.
