Audience Exposure Level: Level 2: Sometimes use AI
Many professionals find using AI tools frustrating or time-consuming, often falling into the "Content Trap" of generating volume rather than genuine value. This session deconstructs the AI's architecture, showing how powerful control layers—such as System Prompts and persistent context—are essential for consistent, high-quality results. Participants will perform a "Cognitive Audit" of their own work to pinpoint areas of greatest friction. The focus shifts from using AI for everything to matching specific capabilities (like Code Interpreter or Canvas) to individual professional struggles for targeted, high-return integration.
Objectives
- Deconstruct the Illusion: Articulate why using AI intuitively often leads to frustration and how to avoid generating volume instead of real value.
- Navigate the Architecture: Understand the fundamental AI architecture—distinguishing between the raw engine, the tools available, and the control settings (System Prompts, Custom Instructions).
- Conduct a Cognitive Audit: Analyze their personal work patterns to pinpoint the exact phases (Ideation,
- Drafting, Reviewing, or Admin) where they experience the most drag or fatigue.
- Deploy Strategically: Match specific AI capabilities (like Canvas, Code Interpreter, or custom tools) to their identified points of personal struggle, rather than attempting to use AI for everything.
