The AI Competency Centre supports the application of generative AI technology across research, teaching, learning, and operations; enabling deployment of commercial AI tools in a controlled and secure environment. We highlight innovative applications of AI at Oxford, from personal use cases to larger scale projects.

Projects and pilots

With our team of expert consultants and research software engineers, the AI Competency Centre is equipped to support a wide range of projects across the University. We have also supported a variety of University-wide pilot programmes, testing out the viability and user experience of commercial AI tools prior to releasing them more widely, if appropriate.
