Izzy is the AI Platform Operations Lead at the AI Competency Centre, currently focusing on the University’s rollout and ongoing deployment of ChatGPT. She leads on the platform’s performance and day-to-day platform operations supporting reliability, large-scale user onboarding, and ensuring that the platform remains stable, well-configured and accessible to all.

Izzy also coordinates new feature releases and vendor updates, working with OpenAI to ensure the smooth introduction of new capabilities, features and models. She works closely with the Centre’s AI Consultants, Research Software Engineers and rollout team to align new releases with documentation and training resources, ensuring that operational and educational guidance progresses cohesively. Izzy is passionate about making platform developments and new updates feel accessible to all users, and takes particular pride in contributing to a programme of work that helps staff and students build their confidence with AI.
