Elena is the Communications Officer at the AI Competency Centre. She is responsible for the management of the Centre's web presence and communications strategy, including the alignment of messaging and creation of content. She is also embedded in the communications team in the Office for the Chief Digital and Information Officer (OCDIO), giving her visibility of further communication activities in the University's digital space.

Prior to joining the University, Elena worked in the production of international pharmaceutical conferences, particularly in the areas of biologics and immuno-oncology. Her background is in the study of Classics at the University of Exeter.
