AI for horizon scanning

I have used AI to build a horizon scanning, emerging trends bot. GenAI is tremendously helpful to compile information from different sources in seconds, run analysis and produce tailored reports. It is a massive time saver and very good at analysing trends. Before, this required desktop-based research that could take weeks.

I have also built a team management HR assistant bot to help me manage team activities like 121s, weekly team meetings, and PDRs. It keeps tracks of items discussed and it flags opportunities for development as it is aligned with POD and continuous improvement guidelines.

The main benefit is time saving, which is sometimes very significant, reducing a week's work to minutes. AI also helps with trying out new ways of working, for instance, using my HR assistant bot to help me with managing my team.

My advice is to keep an open mind as the technology keeps improving. What doesn't work today, may work tomorrow. Also, be prepared to save time in one area but spend more time learning and trying to figure out how to do things or what works for you.
