GPU Centre Of Excellence Award

GPU Centre Of Excellence

On July 3rd 2012, at a dinner in Oxford to celebrate the launch of the e-Infrastructure South Centre for Innovation and the Emerald GPU supercomputer, NVIDIA named Oxford University as a CUDA Centre of Excellence.

This award, which includes a generous hardware donation plus funding to support undergraduate projects, is a reflection of the excellent research on GPU computing within many departments in the university, with Oxford e-Research Centre playing a leading role in developing and supporting the GPU / CUDA community in Oxford.
